New Year's Eve

       In Japan, there is a day called "New Year's Eve" on December 31. Is there New Year's Eve in other countries as well? And what did you do on New Year's Eve?      In my family, we spend the New Year's Eve eating sweets and watching TV with the whole family. For this purpose, we went shopping at AEON on December 30, the day before New Year's Eve. It was very crowded and I was very tired. It was not as crowded as the Aeon in Okayama Prefecture, but....      On New Year's Eve, I took a bath earlier than usual and put a lot of snacks around the kotatsu (Japanese heated table). Usually, there is a special program called "Gaki-tsuka" every year, but it has stopped being broadcast in recent years due to Corona and other factors. I missed it very much because New Year's Eve used to be Gakitsuka. Too expensive...

Today, I went to an AEON with my friends. The reason why we went to Aeon was to buy a coat. It is already December, and I can't go out without winter clothes such as gloves, mufflers, and coats. I don't know much about brands, so I went to UNIQLO. The local one is not so big, but it in Okayama Prefecture is incomparably bigger, and it would have taken me an hour just to look around. Finally, I found a coat. I finally found it. Ten thousand yen! I was so surprised. My friend told me, "A coat costs about that much," but I was hesitant to buy it because it was a lot of money for me. However, considering my body, I thought I had no choice but to buy it, so I did. I am going to enjoy the wonderfulness of the coat from tomorrow.

Okayama is a wonderful city

 Where did you all come to Okayama Prefecture from? The other day, a friend of mine and I went shopping around Okayama Station by bicycle. What we bought was Pokemon Violet. This game is so much fun that I can't put any effort into studying for the test at all! The main thing is that Okayama Prefecture is a very urban and nice place. I come from Tottori prefecture. Tottori is very calm, but there are very few places to play. So everything I saw was new and surprising. I was especially surprised at the number of people walking around and the fact that the trains come if you wait for a while. In Tottori, trains rarely go by, and people travel by car. I was overwhelmed by the number of AEONs, which seemed to be three times as large as those in Tottori Prefecture. Please let me know if there are other places where I can have fun!

Fought the bugs.

 I fought two bugs. One is the spider, the other is the cockroach. I hate them! You also hate them, right? So I thought I couldn't live with them. When I saw them, I said "Oh my god" reflexively. I decided to fight them. But I didn't have the way to capture them, so I'm in trouble. I didn't have a spray to kill them, and I didn't want to touch them. Because of these reason, I have to catch them with tissues. The fight was too long because they hid behind refrigerator and TV. Finally, I could win. If you were me, how would you do?

What happened on past weekend

 I came back to my hometown on October 8. I had to attend my grandfather's memorial service. I was surprised to hear that it was 13th anniversary. I thought it's been 13 years. In the beggining, I visited a temple and listened to a sutras. When I listened to it, I was too sleepy because it was so long... But I beat sleepness!!  After that, I visited his grave and told him I was doing my best in university. Finally, I had lunch. It was a very sumptuous meal! There are many kinds of food such as sushi, tenpura, sashimi, tyawanmushi(etc). Especially surprising, there is whale sashimi. Have you ever eaten it? I sayed "Oh My Gosh." It tasted and felt like meat, unlike fish. I recommend you to try it! I haven't seen my family in a long time. So it was great weekend.

 Hello everyone. My name is Yu. I'm from Tottori Prefecture, where the number of people is the lowest in Japan. But you can eat delicious food such as crabs, pickled scallions, fishes and milk. So if you are interested in tottori, you had better come there! I like animals, especially cats and I have a cat in the pzrents' home. Whenever I come back there, he makes me feel comfortable. I don't have his pictures in this PC, so I cannot show you my cat. Sorry... But he is so cute!! I love him. I like to see animals. So if you have pets, please show me!
